The soul of Rev. Dr. Thomas Raymond Snyder was called to the eternal presence of Father God and His Son Jesus Christ on
October 5t,h 2021.
Pastor Tom was born in Morristown, New Jersey to John and Helen Snyder. He, his five brothers, and sister were raised in the Locust Valley area of Locust Valley area of Long Island, New York. At a young age and out of necessity, he learned the fundamentals of gold and fishing. Fortunately, he was able to maintain a fondness for the recreational side of these activities after their essential role in the family’s support had passed. Inspired by groups like the “Beatles,” Pastor Tom began to cultivate his God given musical talent. This skill would even bring him to perform at the World’s Fair in 1964.
To provide for his young family, Tom would become the caretaker of buildings and grounds at the Green Vale School and a general contractor. He would continue in this profession even after being Born Again in Christ. From that moment, his earthly labor would support his spiritual calling. In this way, he demonstrated to his daughter, Lorraine and son, Thomas, the importance of using your life to serve God.
Thomas left New York for Wisconsin to establish the Jesus is Lord Bookstore, Jesus Heals Magazine, and the Evangelistic center Church of Wisconsin. These ministries flourished around the United States and the World. Sharing the Word of God through all the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in order to lead people to Jesus Christ would regularly take him to cities in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and New York. Internationally, his apostleship would be recognized by the Winnebago Nation, the United States government as a delegate to meet with Mother Teresa, and in 2017 by the President of India when he received the GSA Global Spiritual Icon Award. His outreach would also include authoring the book Tribulation or Raptured: The Choice is Yours and produced two collections of written Music.
All of this was accomplished by the unwavering support and faithful love of his wife Linda, with whom, side by side, built Lamb of God Christian Center. Together their natural love extends to their daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and James Rauch. His son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Mallory Snyder. Their grandchildren, Jacob, Anna, and Elizabeth Rauch. Tommy Kai and Joey Snyder, Leah and Richard Wilson, and Great Grandchildren Reagan Elizabeth and Richard James Wilson. Pastor Tom’s spiritual legacy continues at Lamb of God Christian Center in Tampa, FL even though this present day.
