Behold the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. ( Isaiah 59:1 ) The longer I live in this world and continue to read the word of God, my heartfelt conclusion is always the same. You must believe the word of God exactly for what it is, "the word of God!" Take the above Scripture. As I travel through this side of eternity, people will come to me whom I have never met. They are seeking a touch from the God of the Bible. Although, I know nothing about them, other than my visual observation; they will demand results! So you see, if I did not believe that the Lord's hand is not shortened or that his ear will hear, why would I even pray? What makes this all possible is the greatest of all communicators, Jesus! He is the author and finisher of our faith. The shepherd's voice that leads us. The gift giver and the confirmer of God's word. After all has not Father God himself said, " that he would bring his word to life if we live by it." That man doth not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. ( Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4 ) See what I mean. Praise the Lord!
