​Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. (Isaiah 60:1)


The light of God is a most fabulous event, under any circumstances. Along the road to Damascus, this light brought men prostrate on the ground. When it appeared on Mount Sinai, it brought fear into the hearts of the Israelites. On the mount of Transfiguration, this light from heaven brought the sweet voice of God. In God's house this morning we will truly experience that same light. His presence is all around. Even when I drove onto the property, I could feel his presence.

This presence or glory of the Lord, will always emulate the resurrected Jesus. When Jesus said, "I am the light of the world, he that cometh to me shall never dwell in darkness;" he was giving the church a revelation of his light. As we experience his presence here this morning and enter into the glory of his holiness, the sky is the limit. May this light guide you and manifest itself in you throughout the new year. Praise the Lord !
