![]() And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21: 4) The words, shall wipe away all my tears, are incorporated in the song, "His Mighty Hand." This marvelous Scripture gives insight into our eternal future. It seems to embrace all the heaviness of this life and to reveal in part the bliss, the paradise and the riches of eternal life. But how can this help us in our present life? I see here the nature of our God and Father. It's brilliance shining in every word. He is compassionate. Touched with our infirmities. Father God knows every tear that you and I have shed. Every sorrow you have endured. Every painful happening that occurred in your whole life; like no one else! Even deeper than our own thoughts; God is there. When prayers are made, let your heart be lifted, as you think of whom you are speaking to. Through our present tears, sorrows and pain, there is a hand that is not shortened. It's no wonder Jesus advises us to, "pray always!" Praise the Lord!
