The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. (Psalm 16:5)

The Lord is my portion and my inheritance. What a most wonderful blessing this is! For all those that seek to keep his commandments and walk in his statutes, an eternity of bliss awaits them. Time and time again, Father God instructs us concerning the condition of this world, what we are to engulfed in our daily lives and what will happen when we are called home to glory (heaven).

As I think back on all the years of my pilgrimage, my involvement with Jesus; it seems that the pages of time are continually being covered over with new events. I can hardly remember last year's involvement with the things of God, let alone 15 years ago. However, true as this is, it will in no way exempt us from the living of God's word day by day. The way we serve God today will be the building blocks of our relationship with our tomorrows. No one can fool God! You will either want Jesus to show you the path that leads to life or hide your ways in the pages of time. The choice is yours. Praise the Lord!
