![]() When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. (Proverb 16:7) Good morning in the sweet matchless name of Jesus. Although I am not here this morning in the natural, my thoughts will certainly be; along with my spirit. When surface reading this proverb, the words enemies and peace seem to capture the center ring of our attention. Of course, doesn't everyone have enemies? On the other hand, peace is a commodity most desired and probably the most lacking in such relationships; but let's go beneath the surface. As we travel into our inner man, our soulish pallet is offered this feast of paramount proportions; we can please the Lord! Yes, that is right! You and I can please God! All of the obstacles in our life will pale to this reality; that it is possible to please the Lord in all our ways. What then? The proverb goes on to say, "he maketh." Not you or I, but the Lord maketh our enemies to be at peace with us. Certainly worthwhile entertaining. Praise the Lord!
