A man's heart deviseth his ways but the Lord directeth his steps. (Proverbs 16:9) Can you imagine that? Not only is Father God directing a believer's steps, but the steps of every one in the world! It doesn't matter what the heart is saying, the Lord is directing. When a motion picture is being made, you will always find a director on the set with a script in hand. He has been entrusted to make the picture exactly as it has been written or according to the script. Beside the commission, he also has been given the power and authority to complete his task. Along with this element, he is also given hired assistants that will carry out his every command. Sound familiar? Beloved, the bible is the masterpiece of all scripts. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, everyday the Lord is directing accordingly. Have you read the script? Do you know your part? You only need to ask the Director, JESUS.

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:6 – 11)
I can write no more than that which has already been written. I can say no more than that which has already been said. I can do no more than that which has already been done. For on that day in that cradle was the essence of God's love-JESUS, both Lord and Savior! Not only the Gateway to eternal life but, the only gateway. For there is no other name under heaven in which a man can be saved, but the name of JESUS! Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23) The speech of a man, woman or child will speak volumes about the character of their heart. Flattering lips also will bring downfall, hurt and pain. But the truth will set all matters aright. Even a child is known by his doings. Jesus advised us to examine the fruit because flattering lips and enticing words can sway even the strongest of hearts. A dear sister in the Lord once produced these words, "man looks from without, God looks from within." If we are to run a successful race and not to hurt ourselves or others; just like the master, we must see pass the fleshly entanglements, looking directly into the heart. Only then will we see the motive behind every guided word that exits a person's lips. Beloved, do not be deceived, God is not mocked; whatsoever a man sows that he shall reap. There are only two kinds of hearts upon earth today; those that are filled with Jesus's love and seek to do his will, all others are without God's love. They are self-willed, self-motivated. Sometimes using Christ to their own advantage. How can we tell between the two? The words of a right heart will produce glory, honor and life to Almighty God as their Heavenly Father; all through the name of Jesus |
