And Jesus said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)

In just a few days we will embark on another New Year's Eve outreach. My heart is warmed to know that your prayers and faith are stirring things up. Realizing that every word, every thought, and every mention of your requested desires can never go unheeded by our Lords' listening ear. Like the echo of a sweet songbird in the meadow or the strength of a Lions' roar in the field, Father God's heart will be moved. The more you ask, the more God will do. The brighter your light, the more you will see. The more comforting your intentions, the more you will be comforted. And so it is with our Lord Jesus Christ; never changing, always the same. How could it be otherwise.

And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. (Mark 16:20)

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word. By stretching forth thine hand to heal: and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. (Acts for: 29& 30)

The holy Child Jesus! Once again, the holiday know worldwide as Christmas will be celebrated. Pageants, reenactments of the physical birth will be had by many. Different expressions of acknowledgments that Jesus is the Christ child. The giving of presents will accompany holiday gatherings and dinners.

These two presiding Scriptures from the book of Acts, seem to be the closest way in which the early church celebrated Christmas. You can look and look in the New Testament and you will find that only here was Jesus referred to as a child; after his death and resurrection. The actual group of people that Jesus himself commissioned personally before ascending to heaven, record how they celebrated the holy Child Jesus. First, the word of God was to be spoken with boldness and truth.. Then, Almighty God was requested to stretch forth his hand to heal. All in the name of the holy Child Jesus with signs and wonders following.

No natural effort can ever accomplish the spiritual enlightenment you will receive from the holy Child Jesus. No natural present given can give like the name of the holy Child Jesus. His name opens the doors in heaven; giving access to the giver of all things, Father God himself.

The early church actually looked into the face of Jesus. They realized the purpose of his birth and the use of his name. We only need to include the same. Have a most blessed holiday!

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. ( 2 Corinthians 5:10 )

Most marvelous in an overwhelming way, to know that someday, we will be with him! Jesus the Lord! Not only to see him, but to be with him in paradise forever. It even gets better. All our deeds will follow us. One by one, Jesus will examine all our deeds both remembered and forgotten; each and every event. If you have been wronged for his name sake, Jesus will recompense. If you have served, loved and honored God the Father according to the Scriptures; a favorable recompense will be had. If your deeds expressed love one to another, more blessings will be had. Just think one day we will all vacate our earthly boundaries.

What about the other side of the coin? You know the bad deeds. It's not too late. Surely as your breath remains in you, the judge in heaven is the same one on this earth, Jesus! Go to him. Reason with him. Ask him to change your heart. Repentance is always in season. It will be like apples of gold in pictures of silver. ( proverb 25:11 )

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my Lord, then to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will be withheld from them that walk uprightly.  ( Psalm 84:10 & 11 )

Yes! No good thing. What a marvelous atmosphere as the mind tours through these magnificent Scriptures. Our spirit seems to glide into heaven. The soul is set ablaze with overwhelming joy. The troubles, weaknesses and heaviness caused by this world's influence, seems to melt as the Holy Ghost affirms these truths to be self evident. What a Father! What a Lord! It's no wonder songs of Majesty, worship and praise will echo in God's house today. How could we not but love Him? Our Lord, our Savior and our King! Praise The Lord
