And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)

Wow! Can you imagine that, the whole world! In Christian circles, this scripture is often referred to as "the great commission." It's no wonder, we can certainly see why.

In the book of Luke, chapter 14:23, we can read, 'and the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled'. Verse 21 of the same reads, 'Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city'. This localization of "the great commission," reapportions our view of service to God.

You and I are afforded a starting point. Right here before our eyes is "the first step." The streets, lanes and highways all around seem to be crying out for the gospel of Father God's love.

Every parent wants their child to take "their first step." Then to continue in the same. How important is it for the gospel to not only live in you but through you go into all the world.
