Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner. (Proverb 11:31) Once again, another week has come and gone. Father God has given us everything necessary to sustain life. All the business that was conducted throughout the week has been under the watchful eye of our maker. This will equate to blessings, if our deeds were righteous and wholesome, or on the other hand, if our doings were influenced by selfishness or wickedness; to our regrets. The treasure to be had in this proverb is this: the recompense or the penalty will surface not only on judgment day, but it will also be reflective in the lives that we are living here. Can you imagine that? You and I are dictating to God what he must do with our tomorrows. That's amazing! Here, all along, I thought God was making the decisions on what will happen in our daily routine. But according to his word if I am righteous, he will recompense good. If I am evil and wicked he will recompense troubles. What clarity of circumstance. Whatever I sow, that shall I reap. Whatsoever my behavior has had on others, one day it shall be returned to me. Pretty simple isn't it. Praise the Lord!
