The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. (Proverbs 16:1)
Can these things really be? This world seems to be involved in so many different activities. Self motivating, pleasure seeking, sometimes overwhelming lifestyles. Compounded with social duties, inner wants and hurts, domestic needs and responsibilities. We seem to be in an arena of challenge; a theater in,which we are all playing a part. So how can the Lord even suggests that he is preparing our hearts, let alone the things we speak? Isn't the world we have just described the catalyst for our conversation? Some years ago I knew a man that was seeking truth. However, his methods were quite peculiar to the result he finally obtained. As he took a close look at this world, he concluded there could be no God! If there were, he could not be a good God. The elements of this world had finally wore him down. There seem to be no good in the world he lived in. So, he started on a quest to disprove there was a God. He just couldn't understand that if a good God existed, how could he allow the world to be this way. This man not only found God's existence, but has loved and served him for over 40 years. This man experienced that the preparation of the heart and the answer of the tongue, if desired, are really from God! This man is myself. Praise the Lord!
